The insulated spider lift, also known as the tracked insulated bucket truck, is now officially deployed to deliver a major upgrade for local power grid live-line operations.
Traditional live-line work vehicles are bulky and low in maneuverability, which can only operate smoothly on wide paved roads. Their performance drops sharply when facing pole maintenance tasks in farmlands, hilly areas or narrow forest paths. The insulated spider lift perfectly fills this gap with its compact, agile body, flexible structure and outstanding obstacle-crossing capability. It can easily access complex terrain zones that traditional heavy equipment cannot reach.
On site, the four independent outriggers firmly anchor the whole machine to the ground, while the insulated boom lifts the operator steadily to the exact position near the overhead power lines. Compared with conventional live-line operations, the overall work efficiency has been improved by at least 100%.
